Car Mirror Benefits

Tomorrow is my dad’s birthday. Right now, I am still thinking of what to give on his special day. So after my work, I decided to drop by in a shopping mall that is just a miles away from our office. I will be looking for the best birthday present for the best man in the world – my dad.

Since its rush hour, it is expected that the parking lots will be fully-occupied. Actually, I have to wait for a few minutes just to have a place for my car. After I parked my car, I immediately proceed to men’s section of the shopping mall. I am choosing whether to buy him a new watch, a new pair of leather shoes, or paints and polo shirt. I know what size of shoes my dad uses as wells as the size of pants and shirts since I always go with him each time he buys new apparel and shoes. I also know what style he likes and that makes easy for me to select which one to buy. However, I still ended up buying one of the expensive watches from Swatch. He will only celebrate his birthday once in a year so for me choosing one of the expensive gifts is just right.

After I paid the watch, I went home. In the parking lot, the number of vehicles parked before I get inside the mall was doubled when I went out. And because of that, I find it hard to leave the area since the cars are very close to one another. I was so carefully in backing up as well as in cornering. But no matter how careful I am, my travel still hit the side of the other car. Although the impact is just slight, it still causes damage to my side mirror as well as the side mirror of the other vehicle .

The driver of that automobile immediately comes out of his vehicle door. I can see how angry his face is. I felt afraid that time. Then he’s walking towards my car. Since I am afraid for a long confrontation, I immediately asked for apology and promise him I will replace the defective component. Fortunately, the driver is also good because he easily accept my apology. I asked him if it would be alright if I will just give him money for the replacement part as well as for the installation fee. He agreed and so I just gave him money.

Since my travel buddy’s side mirror also cracked, I immediately proceed to my trusted auto parts and accessories dealer for its replacement. I decided to change my side mirror right away because it is really difficult to navigate with a broken mirror. My driving safety is surely compromised since I cannot easily recognize the things that reflect on my car mirror. Aside from that, the overall appearance of my car is also compromised due to its broken side mirror.

I already know how to replace the side mirror of my car. In fact, it will be my third time to replace the said auto contraption. Replacing the side mirror of my car alone is also a good decision because it lessens my expenses. I don’t need to hire a service mechanic just to restore the functionality of the said safety device. Since I will be replacing my existing mirror, I decided to select the excellently-designed one. This way, I can add a touch of style to the exterior looks of my driving machine. By choosing an excellently-designed car mirror, I don’t only ensure of better visibility, additional safety but also an outstanding impact to my vehicle’s style.

Mayon Volcano - John Seach

Mayon volcano is a beautifully symmetrical volcano with a steep upper slope of 35-40° and is capped by a small summit crater 200 m in diameter. Mayon eruptions produce lava flows, pyroclastic flows and mud flows which threaten populations at the base of the volcano.

Mayon Volcano

Mayon Volcano has had a long history of destructive eruptions.
The first recorded eruption occurred in 1616, and since that time about 40 eruptions have claimed more than 1500 lives.

20th December 2009
Mayon volcano was raised to level 4 alert (out of maximum 5) at 2:30 pm on 20th December (local time). During the previous 24 hours, 222 volcanic earthquakes were recorded at Mayon volcano, Philippines. One explosion occurred which produced a plume rising 500 m above the summit. Harmonic tremors were continuously recorded by the seismic instruments. There was an intense crater glow at night and incandescent lava continuously rolled down the slopes. A lava flow extends 4.5 kilometers downslope from the crater along Bonga-Buyuan Gully. Sulphur Dioxide emission increased from 2,034 to 7,024 tonnes per day. At least 40,000 people have been evacuated from the danger zone surrounding Mayon volcano, Philippines. Evacuation centers have been set up in Camalig, Daraga, Malilipot, Sto. Domingo, and Guinobatan towns; and Legazpi, Tabaco and Ligao Cities. Residents are being removed from a 7-km Extended Danger Zone on the southeast flank of the volcano. A lahar risk is present on the southern side of the volcano, and residents have been warned to avoid river channels, especially after periods of rainfall. Lahars following the 2006 eruption of Mayon volcano killed 1200 people. Visit: http://volcanolive.com/mayon.html for further reading...

This is one of the greatest Mayon Action in Albay Philippines. If you want to go there you can park your car maybe few kilometers from the mayon because of its ash falls that can cover your headlight or the full auto lights and mirrors.

News:Preacher Shot And Killed Inside Car

Police in Perry County are searching for a gunman after a preacher was shot and killed while inside his car along the Hal Rogers Parkway near Hazard Thursday.

Police say the victim is 77-year-old Marion Estep, a preacher from the Chavies community.

The man was taken to the Hazard Hospital where he died around 3:00 Friday morning.

Estep's family tells 27 NEWSFIRST he often helps out strangers and that may have played a role in the shooting.

Family members say Estep left Chavies between 2 and 3 in the afternoon, supposedly heading for Jackson in his white 1994 Chrysler.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the car with the hood up on the side of the road to contact Hazard police or the Perry County Sheriff's Department.

This news caught my attention so much.
The gunman shows no mercy here.

Saving Car Gas and Life

how do you improve gas mileage without doing some serious damage to your pocket? Here’s how:

Drive less
It’s not actually a bad idea to take public transportation once in awhile or carpool with your friends. Think of the money you’ll save on gas and surely, you’ll do some serious thought on ditching your ride every so often. It’s also a good idea to bike or walk, if your destination is just around the corner. It’ll be good for your health and your pocket.

Park, don’t let your car idle
Even if it’ll just take your spouse five minutes to run into the grocery store, don’t let your car idle. It would only waste gas and give off harmful emissions to the environment. So, find a good parking spot, turn off your car, and take some walk. It’ll be good for you and your car.

Slow down
Flooring on the gas pedal causes the engine to eat up a lot of fuel. So, respect the speed limits and drive slowly. Accelerate smoothly and be sure to stay gentle with the gas pedal. Remember that aside from shedding thousands of bucks for gas alone, over speeding might get you a speeding ticket down the road.

Get a Tune-up
Misfiring spark plugs and inadequate fuel system result in too much fuel consumption. It’s important that you regularly bring your car to your mechanic for check up. This way any car trouble will be addressed early on. It’s particularly important to have the air conditioning system checked. Keep in mind that malfunctioning AC system can drain your tank. It’s a good idea to roll the windows down instead of using the AC when the weather is not extremely hot.

Don’t load up too much
Excess baggage uses a lot of gas. Aside from making it taxing for your car to carry the excess weight, this causes the engine to work harder as well and eat up a lot of fuel. So, remove the junk out of your trunk and keep only what you need.

These simple tips would surely help you improve gas mileage and save a lot of money. But don’t forget to keep the other components of your car tuned up as well to help prolong the service life. This includes the auto lights, engine, and brake system. These components also play important roles in perking up that mileage and saving a lot of dough. And while regular maintenance is not a cure-all solution to getting the cutback you want, it would still give noticeable difference in your car’s performance and your savings. I know that changing car parts like headlights is once in a blue moon but proper use of car can also save your car life.

My Friend on Wheel

Among my three fiends, it is only Romel who crapper drive well. Since he has keys to the cars, he is responsible for it. One artefact of how he takes care of the cars is by adding assorted accessories to it. The latest that he added were the plate mirrors. He changed the older mirrors because the casing or cover is already starting to get loose. He even has to put paper on it to ensure that the mirror won't fall. He has been looking for the right mirror for several already when he saw the CCI plate mirrors over the Internet. These mirrors are assorted because the manufacturers use triple coated chrome-plated ABS for it. The mirrors also custom fit the contours of the cars where you module put it, so you need not vexation on how it module look same after installing it. You need not vexation on how to install it; you just have to use the pre-applied heavy-duty tape and your finish. There is no need to revilement or drill just to install it. When dad saw the changes, he was very pleased. The car looked better now. That effectuation we crapper borrow it, the incoming instance we go out of town.

Best New Car of 2010

2010 marks our fourth annual Best New Cars list -- my picks for the best new and redesigned cars for the 2010 model year. A dozen cars made the cut for 2010; here they are, in alphabetical order.

Making a good convertible isn't easy, which is why its so pleasing to see a drop-top like the Audi A5 -- one that gets it almost 100% right. From its fast-opening soft top to its sprightly, fuel-efficient engine to its well-sorted chassis, the A5 is everything a modern-day convertible should be -- practical, fun to drive, and reasonably affordable, at least by luxury-convertible standards. A brilliant car through and through.
